Janne Reisch is an associate in our Providence office. She focuses on education matters — including special education — as well as family law. She frequently works with and presents to school districts on topics of mandatory reporting requirements, progressive discipline for personnel, 504 and IEP issues, immigration and residency matters.

Additionally, Janne is often hired by child guardians to represent children in immigrant issues in family court.
In her prior practice, Janne protected the rights of special education children and their parents in various venues including Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and hearings at the Department of Education.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Janne had a successful career in the diagnostics and pharmaceutical industry. She is a chemical engineer and, most recently, worked in quality control at a large pharmaceutical company.
Active in her community, Janne serves on the Board of Directors of the Jonnycake Center in Westerly, Rhode Island, and is Chair of its Governance Committee. She also serves as Secretary of the South County Chapter of the League of Women Voters.
