BRCSM attorney Brian Hughes (pictured here second from left) recently participated in the first annual panel discussion on entrepreneurship at his alma mater, Blue Hills Regional Technical School. In celebration of National Entrepreneurship Week, the school convened a panel of small business owners and professionals to discuss their experiences and offer insights to the junior and senior classes.
Recurring themes included building one’s skillsets early in life, the proper role of credit, and maintaining integrity at all times. “Integrity is everything in business,” said Brian. “If you are perceived as not having integrity, your business will eventually fail.”
After the panel, Brian held a discussion with some of the school’s criminal justice students, where the topics included the legal industry and book recommendations. “It was a great experience for everybody involved and I am exited to return next year,” said Brian.
